Spa Etiquette

While Sol Spa is a place to relax & unwind, we have a few small requests to ensure your appointment runs smoothly.

To allow time to prepare for your treatment, please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. The door may be locked on your arrival, please do not knock, enjoy a seat and Rhiannon will open it once her previous treatment is complete. This ensures everyone wakes from their massage calmly.

We love that you love the beach, we do too! However, we prefer you don't bring it with you to the salon. Sand mixed with massage quickly becomes a body scrub that you didn't ask for. It also becomes very uncomfortable underfoot for other guests. Please come with clean feet & shoes. Door mats are provided if you wish to take your shoes off at the door.

We ask that you arrive for your appointment showered & clean. Heavy perfumes cannot be tolerated by all therapists, please avoid wearing it to your appointments. The usual under arm deodorant is suffice. 

We also ask that all heavy make-up be removed prior to massage therapy as it can be difficult to completely remove from white towels.

Sol Spa is a safe space, any intimidation or threats made against therapists or guests will not be tolerated & will result in an invitation to leave the spa promptly, without a refund or compensation for time or treatments lost. 

Your time spent at Sol Spa & the conversations enjoyed by therapist & client will always remain confidential.

 

Cancellations

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. A reminder will be sent 48 hours in advance.

To avoid a fee, please provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so will result in a charge of 50% of the service cost, which may be deducted from any deposit or gift voucher.

Same-day cancellations or rescheduling will incur a fee equivalent to the full cost of your booked service.

Please note that deposits are transferable but not refundable. A deposit is required to confirm appointments longer than 1 hour.

Failure to arrive results in our therapists not being paid.
